Apostle Devia Curry is a woman after God's own heart. She delivers a non-compromising message straight from the Holy Ghost, but it hasn't always been this way.

​ She once worked for the Devil. She was physically abused by her mom and sexually molested by her stepdad from the age of 5 until she was 17-years-old. She then ran away from home and hit the streets and took her anger out on the world. She met a man that introduced her to drugs and alcohol on her 18th birthday. That's when she really spiraled out of control and she had two children by him. Due to the drugs he took the children away from her. ​

Which only added fuel to the anger burning on the inside. She started hating men and turned to women to the point she acted and dressed like a man. She became a homosexual. ​

She started going in and out of jails and prisons. She had five felonies from drugs to murder. She had four trips to prison. ​

On the fourth trip to prison, the Lord delivered Apostle Curry and set her free. Once released the Lord restored her children after 16 years (they were 16 and 18 years old), and her family after twenty-five years. She got a job making $6.50 an hour in 2004. Six month after her release she began looking for an apartment and no one would give her an apartment because of her five felonies, but the Lord opened up a door and made her manager of the apartment complex that said she couldn't live there because of her felonies from 2005 - 2008. ​

God continued blessing her with a husband who she has now been married to for twelve years. She went from apartment manager to being regional supervisor making a six figure salary, over $10,000 a month with no high school diploma or college degree, just a GED from prison. ​

God started pricking her heart for His people, telling her He has heard the cries of the people and for her to go back to Egypt and get His people who are bound by the pharaohs of today: Crack, cocaine, heroin, prostitution, perversion, and more. ​

In October 2008, the Lord instructed Apostle Devia to give her boss a sixty day notice to let it all go. Her boss offered Devia and her husband a trip to Hawaii and had his lawyer to draw up paperwork to make her part owner if she would stay on the job, but Apostle Curry obeyed the voice of the Lord and let it all go (the house, the money, and the cars ) to do full-time ministry and is walking by faith. The vision the Lord has given her is to have homes, schools, and daycares for adults and youths all over the world. She has a discipleship home for women, free of charge in Dallas, Tx. This woman of God will be quick to say: "JESUS DID IT ALL!"
